Rules of the $10,000 Tournament Include: 1. Boats are restricted to using electric motors.
2. No alcohol allowed in the park. 3. Must be registered to qualify for any prizes.
4. Boats & live wells will be checked prior to start of tournament.
5. Fish must be caught by legal means, live bait and artificial lures are permitted.
6. Fish accepted for weigh in until 4p.m. (don't be late).
**Live minnows will be on sale @ the ramp.
Additional Tournament Rules:
1. Teams shall consist of one or two adults or one adult and up to three children; 15 and under.
2. Tournament will start @ 8a.m. and will end at 4p.m.
These times are subject to change at the descretion of the tournament organizers, rain or shine.
3. All teams will wait for the offical starting horn before leaving the designated launch area/registration area to fish.
4. Winning weights will be based on the total team weights of up to ten crappie weighed in
& by the heaviest single crappie weight in for that category.
5. In the event a valid tagged fish is caught, any prize awarded, be it the grand prize or
consolation prize, will be offered only to the person who caught the fish.
6. Tag numbers in effect for this tournament will be posted at the registration area after the start
of the event. Any fish caught with a tag from previous events are not due to any special consideration for this event.
7. NO team may leave and re-enter the tournament without approval of the tournament director.
8. ALL park rules and state fishing regulations are to be adhered to. Special conditions pertaining to the
tagged fish as specified by the Tournament Organinzers will apply and will be posted at the registration area.
9. Any team caught cheating will be disqualified from this and future tournaments.
Park patrols and event staff will be periodically
boating through the tournament area.
Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.
10. The event organizers and/or the tournament director will handle any situation not
expressly covered within the various rules of this tournament.
